★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the best beef of my life at this place. It was priced reasonably, it tasted heavenly, and it had the perfect atmosphere to enjoy such perfect beef. We sat at the bar table and was served by the ‘unfriendly’ waiter everyone was talking about. I felt that he was misunderstood and wronged. Some people just have a more serious face by default. In fact, i believe his service was top-notch and professional. He deserves to be credited for always keeping a lookout for our beef, ensuring we cooked it properly. He even guided us on how to enjoy the beef. Simply amazing. Can’t believe i even had doubts about the service when i first read the comments here. You simply have to try it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best meals I’ve ever had and served by one of the kindest (and yes, also sternest) elderly man. We each got a 6,000 set which came with slices of all the types of beef under the premium meat sections, as well as some other cheaper options like a Korean samgyupsal one, and sides like salad and a kimchi spread. Everything was delicious and the guy made sure we cooked everything exactly as it’s meant to be. In the end, each meal plus three round of drinks cost about 24,000 which and we walked away STUFFED. Highly recommend as a cheaper way to eat delicious Kobe beef, in a great environment. The restaurant looked like it could sit multiple parties of four at tables, and had one section to sit six, so good for smaller groups.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We walked in here and met their famous grumpy waiter. He stared at us in irritation when we asked to switch tables and we were quite put off (he did not allow it). But we treated him with much courtesy and he warmed up eventually and gave us wonderful (if somewhat unrefined) service. At first, another waitress took care of us but he took over eventually, helping grill most of our food and serving our noodles, cutting the meat up for the kids... He was really good. I can’t help but think perhaps responding with kindness even when people are rude is the best reaction. Perhaps we can help to turn his day around.
The food here is amazing. Truly one of the best yakiniku restaurants we have ever tried. My whole family gives this place a resounding thumbs up. My Daughter could not stop saying “this is so goooood!”

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a wonderful experience! The Kobe beef was really tender and juicy, and service uncle was very friendly and helpful. Taught us the correct way of bbq’ing and eating! Recommended!
Although quite a walking distance from the train station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This one of the best Kobe beef I had. It taste so different from the others. But I only saw four seat tables and not suitable for large group. Must book before U go. That waiter looks stern but very helpful. Almost forgot to mention the lovely price for such good beef.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious! There are many beef options as well as set menus. The staff was extremely kind and was able to explain everything in English. I was torn between two different wines and he let me sample them. He explained the optimal way to cook each cut of meat/intestine and how it was best eaten/which sauces to use. Make a reservation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow! Following people’s advice, I made a reservation. The place was full. They have an English menu, and our waiter explained how to cook our meat( it is yakiniku style), and what sauces to pair it with. You can order à la cart or get a set menu. These pictures are based on the 6,000 yen menu (per person). The flavors were great! What surprised me the most were the innards such as stomach and intestines! They were so delicious! If I wasn’t so full I would’ve ordered more. The premium beer went great with the meet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best experiences I had with Kobe beef. Sat by the bar and tried a few different cuts. Server was helpful and explained the different cuts. The beef wrap was my person fave! Not cheap but better priced than other Kobe spots I checked out.
