★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friends and I stumbled upon this restaurant after taking the train back to Osaka after a full, long day exploring Kyoto.
We were super hungry and decided to get some yakiniku. This place got excellent review from one of the top review places in Japan, so we decided to give it a shot.
It really didn't disappoint. So many selection of the meats, and they also serve raw beef salad (which was excellent by the way). Not sure whether we were too hungry, but after cooking the meat for a while, smoke and fire started to come out of the grill. We immediately called for the servers asking for help. Calmly, one of the servers came bringing a bucket of ice cubes and started to drop them into the grill. I guess that wasn't the first incident that happened :)
The meat itself was delicious, and melt in your mouth. It's served with a side of rock salt and wasabi (real ones, not the fake horseradish they usually serve in Japanese restaurants in US) to dip the meat into. Have you tried eating grilled meat with rock salt and wasabi? After trying it, you wouldn't want to have it any other way. It was super delicious. If I ever go back to Osaka this would be the first place I go to from the airport (given they're still open, of course)
Try it, you won't regret it :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst service ever. They treat the Japanese and foreign tourists differently. We opened the door and they literally just kicked us out. No explanation at all. We were like "??" and then the guy opened the door again and said we had to eat and leave within one hour. We couldn't even sit where we wanted. If we can't agree with that, we cannot eat there-_- But Japanese people are welcomed and they sit wherever they want. They have LITERALLY NO SERVICE. And the quanity of the meat is very not enough. It tastes great but I never wanna go back to this place. They were the unkindest Japenese I met during my trip

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was all very good and delivered promptly. I was surprised at how fast they were, to be honest.
Reasonably priced with a wide range of quality and choices. You don't need to spend a lot to eat here, but they also feature more expensive, higher quality items if that is what you prefer.
Our grill wasn't set up properly so it took longer than usual to cook our food and the ventilator wasn't doing a great job. Other than that, a grand experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic Japanese BBQ - expect a queue at peak time. English menu available. Get the wagyu steak - it's amazing! Not sure why all the Koreans give one star reviews. Open to 4am.
