Tsunegi Inari Shrine Ukanomitama The god of worship, the god of the gods, the god of the gods, the god of the gods, the god of the gods, the god of the gods, the god of the gods History It is said that the beginning of our company was due to the fact that the priest Kojima Penal Department of Muramatsu Village Miwa Shrine built a small shrine in Imaizumi Village in the early Edo period. In 1613, he moved to Tsuneki Imaizumi Village (current location) and was revered by the villagers as Inari Myojin, and later his younger brother Kojima Minbu became the priest. When the shrine was completely destroyed by a fire on September 13, 1647, the coins in the inner camp soared into the sky and stopped on the branches of the sacred tree. It is said that the villagers who saw this mysteriously gathered and worshiped. Gonnosuke, the son of the Ministry of Popular Affairs, took down this coin and transferred it to a temporary store. Since then, the high virtues of our company have made it popular and the number of worshipers has increased, and in the following year (1648), the shrine was rebuilt. In addition, the shrine was rebuilt in the third year of Shotoku (1713), and in the same five years (1715), it was ranked first. In this way, our company was not only the deity of Imaizumi Village, but also revered by the townspeople of Kiryu Shinmachi, and it is said that on the day of the festival, we celebrated with the whole town lantern. It is said that in the first year of Kaei (1848), Mr. Kojima, the priest of our company, devoted himself to praying for the healing of the general's illness in the Edo period. In the first year of the Meiji era (1868), the shrine was destroyed by fire again, but it was rebuilt the following two years and continues to this day. In July 1910, Suwa Shrine and Yasaka Shrine were enshrined and became April Village Shrine in 1919. (From Tsunegi Inari Shrine History Book)

Since I am a Ujigami, I often worship. It's a small shrine, but I love it because it has a very nice atmosphere. The autumn leaves are also very beautiful. When I go to visit on the morning of the first day of every month, there is a clean salt, which is very conscientious. There is an Omikuji beside the money box, and I am grateful that you can always say something for 50 yen. I posted it with my usual gratitude.
