★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 集落の入り口に「釈迦如来像、仁王像」➡️の案内が目に入ったので、行ってみました。サイクリングで立ち寄ったので、途中までは自転車を押して行きましたが、いよいよハイキングコースとなったので、自転車は途中で置いておき、自分だけ歩いて進みました。こんな奥に釈迦如来像があるのだろうか、と思えるほどの鬱蒼とした山の中を進むと、突如現れるお寺。びっくりしたのは、釈迦如来像が想像以上に素晴らしかった事。ヘ〜っと、暫く見惚れました。気がつくと両脇に仁王様が立っています。残念ながら仁王像はどちらも傷みが酷いです。それにしても何故こんな山の中に立派な寺と釈迦如来像が？と思って、案内標識を読んで驚きと納得。807年に開山とあります。凄い！

I stopped by for cycling, so I pushed my bicycle halfway, but it was finally a hiking course, so I left my bicycle on the way and walked on my own. A temple that suddenly appears when you go through the dense mountains that make you wonder if there is a statue of Shaka Nyorai in the back. What surprised me was that the statue of Shaka Nyorai was more wonderful than I had imagined. I fell in love with it for a while. When I noticed, Nio-sama is standing on both sides. Unfortunately, both statues of Nio are badly damaged. Anyway, why is there a magnificent temple and Shaka Nyorai statue in such a mountain? I was surprised and convinced by reading the guide sign. It is said that the mountain was opened in 807. great!
