★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 通学でよく使ってます。若葉区で1番大きい駅です。
使う人が多い割には駅周辺には何も無いです。駅周辺が開発されたらもっと使い易い駅になると思います。千葉へは快速で1駅。東京駅までは快速で10駅程でいけます。
 I often use it when I go to school. It is the largest station in Wakaba Ward.
There is nothing around the station for many people. If the area around the station is developed, it will be easier to use. 1 stop to Chiba by rapid train. You can reach Tokyo Station in about 10 stations at high speed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この駅はの利用者は駅近辺だけではなく広範囲に居住しており、そこから通う人の為のバスやタクシー、そして最も近代的な千葉都市モノレールを利用する為の、ターミナルの役割を果たしている。つまり、ここでまた何かに乗り換えて他の交通機関を利用する人が多いわけで、日本屈指のターミナル駅である千葉駅まで5分というアクセスの良さからくる膨大な利用者の割には、東西を問わず駅前付近がそこまで開発されているわけではないので、極めて残念だといわざるを得ない。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ モノレールとの乗り換えやらでよくゴタゴタしています〜駅員も殺伐とした冷たい対応をします……駅前ロータリーにはお迎えの車がたくさん停車しています。
飲食店等々は結構あるので困りませんね！

運転手が焦らないように遅れても、多少しょうがないと思ってほしい。ある程度みんながんばって乗ろうとしている、、、ダイヤうまいことやってほしい。

大正元(1912)年11月1日、都賀信号所として開業。
昭和40(1965)年9月30日、千葉～四街道間の複線化に伴い仮乗降場に昇格。
昭和43(1968)年3月28日、千葉～成田間の電化によって都賀駅に昇格。
明治22(1889)年の町村制施行で10箇村が合併して誕生した｢都賀村｣に由来する駅名である。
10箇村と新村発足の祝賀の｢十賀｣を｢都賀｣とした。
因みに総武本線ではあるが、成田線の電車も乗り入れている。
千葉都市モノレール乗り換え駅である。JR東日本と千葉都市モノレールの改札は2階にありモノレールとは連絡通路で結ばれている。

Sobu Main Line Toga Station (Tsuga)
Opened as Toga Signal Station on November 1, 1912.
On September 30, 1965, it was promoted to a temporary boarding area due to the double line between Chiba and Shikaido.
On March 28, 1968, it was promoted to Toga Station by electrification between Chiba and Narita.
The station name is derived from "Tsugamura", which was created by merging 10 villages with the enforcement of the town and village system in 1889.
"Toga" was changed to "Toga" to celebrate the establishment of 10 villages and Shinmura.
By the way, although it is the Sobu main line, there are also trains on the Narita line.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ JR総武本線/成田線及び千葉都市モノレールの駅です。
いずれの鉄道の改札も2Fで、バリアフリーで乗り換えできますが、駅西口はバリアフリーになってないように見えました。（もしかしたらエレベーターあるのかもしれませんがみつけられませんでした）
2021年2月現在モノレールの改札内は受験生応援のためのちょっとした神社のディスプレイを用意してくれてます。
手作り感溢れる素敵なディスプレイだと思います。
初音ミクとのコラボは千葉らしいですよね！？
JRについてみどりの窓口は廃止されてしまいましたが、指定席特急券券売機はありますので新幹線や特急券の購入は問題ありません。
おそらく6:00am～購入できると思います。（AM５時台は購入できない駅が多い）
エキナカ施設としては、改札外にミニNewDaysが１つあるだけです。
駅構内にBeck's Coffeがありましたが空き家になってから久しい状況です。多分当面何も入らないのでは？朝１番にいつも行ってたので困っています。朝はいつの同じ面子がBeck'sコーヒーに来ていましたが、先日千葉駅のカフェにそのうちのおひとりが来ておられました。
カフェの復帰を切望します。
It is a station of JR Sobu Main Line / Narita Line and Chiba Urban Monorail.
The ticket gates of both trains are on the 2nd floor, and you can transfer for barrier-free, but the west exit of the station did not seem to be barrier-free. (Maybe there is an elevator, but I couldn't find it)
As of February 2021, the inside of the monorail ticket gate has a small shrine display to support the students.
I think it's a nice display with a handmade feel.
The collaboration with Hatsune Miku seems to be Chiba! ??
About JR The Midori no Madoguchi has been abolished, but there is a reserved seat limited express ticket vending machine, so there is no problem purchasing the Shinkansen or limited express tickets.
You can probably buy it from 6:00 am. (Many stations cannot be purchased at 5 AM)
As an Ekinaka facility, there is only one mini NewDays outside the ticket gate.
There was Beck's Coffe in the station yard, but it has been a long time since it became a vacant house. Maybe nothing will come in for the time being? I'm in trouble because I always went to No. 1 in the morning. The same face came to Beck's Coffee in the morning, but the other day one of them came to the cafe at Chiba Station.
I long for the return of the cafe.
