★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious udon spot in the Esca (underground). Dishes cooked in a heavy crock and served with house pickles (Japanese pickles). The fried tofu was one of the best things I've ever tasted!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had piping hot 味噌煮込みうどん名古屋コーチン入り during winter. The udon was cooked aldente. The taste was so-so for us but the service was very warm hearted, our ocha was refilled without us having to ask for it. Simple things do matter.
