★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Started using this place after my first Toyota rental in Akita this year. The place is conveniently located two crosswalks from the station. Hand sanitizer is provided near the entrance/exit.
The staff are very quick to look up your reservation and have you on the road.
Update: One of the staff said they're competitively matching the gas price so customers can feel easier about returning the car to the shop than having to go around the maze that Tokyo streets are to fill up the gas to save some extra yen.
