★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 小坂町から、十和田湖に伸びる「樹海ライン」を駆け上がって行くと、標高の高くなった道路沿いに「笹森展望所」があります。 カーブを抜けた所に、駐車スペースと小高くなった展望台があるだけなので、うっかり通り過ぎてしまうかもしれません。 天気の良い日は、折り重なる山々の景色や、遠く「岩手山」まで見渡すことが出来る展望スポットです。
From Kosaka town, if you run up the Jukai Line that stretches to Lake Towada, you will find the Kashimori Observatory along the high-altitude road. ◎ There is only a parking space and a slightly elevated observatory just off the curve, so you may accidentally pass by. When the weather is nice, it is a viewing spot where you can overlook the overlapping mountains and distant Mt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5月だと雪が残り展望台への道はありません。ちょっとの坂なので行けないことはないですが、登っても道路を守るための壁が邪魔でいい展望が見にくいです。夏は壁がなくなるようですのですごい展望だと思います。
May leaves snow and there is no road to the observatory. Although it is a little slope, it is not impossible to go, but even if you climb it, the wall to protect the road is in the way and it is difficult to see a good view. Summer seems to have no walls, so it's a great outlook.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 天気が良いと鳥海山や森吉山とか八幡平。眺めがいい場所で、気持ちだけなら富士山まで見えそうな気分です。(見えないケド)
雲がかかったときは、ただの山奥です。
When the weather is nice, Mt. Chokai, Mt. Moriyoshi and Mt. Hachimantai. It's a place with a nice view, and I feel like I can see Mt. Fuji if I just feel like it. (Invisible Ked)
When it's cloudy, it's just deep in the mountains.
