★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great yakitori, mostly chicken and chicken offal with some duck, pork, and veggie skewers as well. They also had very extensive non yakitori sections including a few bento options. We got yakitori and a chicken thigh over rice bowl.
Great drink sake selection, a few cocktails (including a macha one that was good), and beer. Definitely would recommend coming here to eat if doing sake tours in the area.
Good pricing, friendly & efficient service with English menus. There were about 10 or 12 people in front of us but we were seated within 5 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place for lunch after visiting the nearby breweries. We stopped off here after visiting Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum. We ordered the “other” Bento box which was amazing and had braised duck breast, fried chicken, two yakitori skewers and a bunch of sides including miso. Great value and every item was cooked to perfection.
We also ordered a chicken rice bowl and two negima skewers.
The price is a little higher than similar establishments but I feel it is worth it for the experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While visiting Fushimi Momoyama we eat in Torisei. The place can be busy but we did not wait long before getting a table. Menu is available in English and it was easy to communicate with the staff. For lunch they offer a special meal. We weren't too hungry so we decided to order different small dishes instead. Definitely you should try their chicken winds and skewers. The ambiance is great!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant with options for yakitori or bentou sets. the bentou is very reasonably priced and the yakitori is avout 130 yen to 230 yen per item.
There is also a fully translated english menu. i asked if it was different to the Japanese menu and they said all the items are the same :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popular yakitori place full of locals. Make sure to ask for their English menu since they may not offer it even when it's obvious you need one. Skewers are delicious and have a nice Japanese char aroma. Make sure to try their other small dishes as well. There is a button to call a server when you are ready to place your orders. They have a moderate selection of sakes with a sweetness/dry scale rating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here as part of a sake tasting your. We were pleasantly that it is a famous free range chicken restaurant! We had the chicken yakitori and chicken donburi. Both were great. The best part was the house brewed cold sake. It was the first but the best sake of our tour!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a really convenient place to eat if you are in the area to visit the sake breweries. Ordering is easy as they have an English menu. All of the food I had was tasty and not that expensive. When I visited, there was a bit of a wait to get a seat, but I think it was worth the wait.
