★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tiny restaurant that is so good! I ate here twice when staying at a hotel across the road. They have an English menu and are very friendly. The Tonkatsu here was the best I had on my 3 week holiday in Japan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This tiny restaurant just across the street from the Sunroute Plaza at Shinjuku is superb. The welcome for folks who can hardly speak any Japanese was brilliant.
The menu is available in English and even with a short list of meals all four of us found something to suit us.
We started with complementary green tea then beer, soda and shōchū for those of us wanting something different.
The food was excellent. The bill was cheap under ¥7000 for four.
I can't fault this place for a genuine Japanese experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had Tonkatsu Don and my wife had special pork katsu. Both me and my wife enjoyed the food. Real cosy restaurant with limited seats. But was able to get seats during lunchtime.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good taste and mood to have wonderful dinner. Nice Kushi menu and Don menu than I expected. I visited with my son and talked with others at the place. I felt seems like a traditional atmosphere with nostalgically.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered gyudon and pork yakisoba. The meat in both had strong blood taste. Especially in Gyudon, the rice soaked the bloody taste and it made me feel disgusting after eating it. It is unacceptble for a restautant since I can make better beef and pork at home. The yakisoba had no other taste but black pepper... IF your not using fresh meat but frozen ones, plz deal with the blood. The worst japanese food I have ever had

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice staff. English menu is not displayed but they have one when you ask. Small and clean shop.with two tables of 4 seats and 3 tables of two seats.
I ordered the katsudon with egg. chef cooked with care. It was delicious and only 900yen. They also have set choices with pork or chicken katsu without egg on top. Set comes with shredded cabbage, rice and miso soup.
I would definitely go again.
