In the picture you can see the 上ロース (Jō
Rōsu) 定食 (teishoku) course.
When I arrived (2:10pm) the normal ロース was sold out, but I guess this is common for a famous restaurant.
Atmosphere is also good, I went solo like some other customers and could rest.
Felt refreshed when leaving.

The best Tonkatsu so far I have tried in Tokyo, regardless of what Tabelog has said.
Olive oil and salt go best with the cutlet steak.

It looks too fatty when you first look at it (yes, I had that feeling when it first arrives) but later I discover that the pork cutlet is so well-layered and it doesn’t taste excessively fatty/oily at all...
I would return when I’m back to Tokyo and recommend my friends to come as well!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic Tonkatsu. Better cuts are a little pricey but it definately is worth the price. The meat is tender and juicy, creating a fantastic combination. People who complain about too much fat have no idea what meat is about.
All dishes are prepared freshly in front of you and the cook can even show you the individual cuts he uses for each dish.
Definately a great experience, I will come again!
