K	Katie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Completed my 18 month course in 2018 and now working in HR for Uni Qlo. My job doesn't require fluent Japanese ability, as we mainly work in English. But living in Japan does require it. I did the JLPT N3 in December 2017 and after graduating in 2018 I got my N2. I could not have done it without the support and guidance of the teachers. Thanks to this I am on the road to getting a management position where I can use both Japanese and English more and contribute more to a growing foreign workforce.

It has a friendly environment that you can easily get use to especially for first time foreigners in Japan. They have mini tests and homeworks everyday which mainly focuses on the students’ capability to remember new learnt topics efficiently. They also have bilingual teachers which makes it easy to communicate if ever you have problems or concerns.

They try their best to keep student's needs at mind while teaching them Japanese to help them prepare for further education or a career in Japan. Classes are a good size and teachers keep the classes entertaining and useful.

The student manager and jack-of-all-trades, Ben was fantastic. He took me to city hall for registration, got me a mobile phone, bank account and even took me to a hospital when I got flu and a dentist, doing all the translation for me. Honestly without him my time in Japan would have been very tough. My teachers were very professional, classes were structured well, easy to understand and if I was not sure I would just ask Ben and he took the time to explain. He even gave additional free classes to help me understand the grammar better. Thank you everyone at Shinwa Foreign Language Academy.

They guided me on the right path and helped me to understand classes. I was working full-time while I was studying so study after work was sometimes hard, but teachers helped me and understood my situation well. I went from a total beginner to JLPT N3 level in 6 months. I wish I could have studied more, but time is not enough. Thank you to all my teachers!! What makes this school is the level of support given on a native level. Other schools I visited only had Japanese staff that either didn't speak English or were barely able to understand. However, at Shinwa Academy, they have a British guy working in PR that supports students. He has taken me to the dentist, hospitals, city hall. Got me a mobile phone, health insurance and even dealt with my utility bill enquiries. I couldn't be any happier. The classes were excellent and anything I didn't understand, I went to Ben in the office who helped me understand the content and even taught me some basic grammar. My teachers were very thorough in their class content and taught everything we needed to work and function in Japan. They helped me to enter a college where I am now studying in IT to prepare me to work in Japan. Thank you to everyone at Shinwa for your help, guidance and support.
