Loved it. Came for lunch, queued for 30 mins but it was all worth it as I was served one of the best Tonkatsu I’ve had. It was very tender and the end slices melt in your mouth. For only 1080 yen (tax included), a massive steal considering I tried a premium Iberico cut in Kyoto which cost more than twice but with only less than half of the satisfaction. Portion is just right for a normal eater.

I knew Tonkatsu Daiki, Osaka from google map. What i can say about this shop more than "Fabulous". I ordered 250g special selected Pork Roast. After 11 minutes, i can have it. The appearance of the Tonkatsu looks good, the color of the crispy bread is not very strong. Pork look medium well done, have little pink in the middle. There are two kind of sauce; tonkatsu sauce and mustard sauce, and salt. The chef told me to try the first bite with salt. And then with tonkatsu sauce, mustard sauce for the second and third bite. The forth bite is the mixture between Tonkatsu sauce and Mustard sauce. Yummy!!! This is what i can explain. Tonkatsu sauce is very tasty, mustard sauce is very delicious, it is more Umami than i had before. This Tonkatsu restaurant become one of my most favorite. ??❤️

Delicious ! One of the few true tonkatsu specialists that actually offers different types of pork options ranging from lean to fatty rich. Owner was ultra friendly and explained the food options to us in English which is a great help considering I don't speak Japanese. Thank you for the hospitality !!

The chef explains well on the cut you are having . The rosu cut will have more fats and the hire cut is basically lean meat. Restaurant is famous for their Extra thick tonkatsu and surely wouldn’t disappoint tonkatsu lover out there.

AWESOME. Excellent fried pork. You can choose the thickness of the cut of your pork, and choose between a more lean or more fatty cut. The menu is only in Japanese but the chef is happy to explain it to you and is very friendly. If I’m in Osaka I will definitely come again!

Very very very delicious! The chef introduced all the sauces and told me how to eat, he is very friendly. The pork is the best delicious pork that I’ve ever eat. The plum wine is also recommended! I can eat more rice and cabbage for free.

This is the best tonkatsu I ever had! It is super crispy and crunchy on the outside, while tender and juicy inside! I had the ultra-thick (300g) fatty piece, which was huge! Luckily I was very hungry, so I could finish the whole dish. Also, there were two kinds of salad toppings, both delicious, still I liked the dark one better. Service was super friendly. There are just two people running the place. The chef and a waiter/cashier. Both were very nice and polite. The chef is kind enough to explain the menu to non-Japanese speakers, which made the whole experience even better.

The food was really good. The chef/owner is really. Knowledgeable and his English is pretty good too. The Tonkatsu was really juicy and tender and he took the time to describe each cut of pork. No English menu, but you get refills on salad, and soup. The curry is a little spicy, but perfect for me. The uses a different salt from different countries and regions each night. Closed on Sundays. Sandwich was good, but the regular non-special pork was even better.
