Have been frequenting this branch of Wako for several years, the daily lunch sets/specials runs from Monday till Saturday, there is no lunch sets/specials on Sunday.
The quality of the meats used for the Tonkatus is generally good, the meats are trimmed properly as such there is not that much excess fat as it happens in other establishments.
The rice is fresh and tastes great every time.
The miso soup uses small clams (asari), as such it is generally good, there have been a few times where I have encountered a few grains of sand in the miso soup from some of the clams, but that happens in most cuisines that uses fresh clams to create part of the soup stock.
There are options of ordering a special sauce as well as daikon oroshi (grated daikon) for 100 Yen.
The restaurant used to validate parking, but that went away a while back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really one of the best tonkatsu I've ever had. Texture of the cutlet was light, crispy and amazing. Loved the grated radish as well. Good service, fair price for quality. Wont hesitate to return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They're pretty busy during lunchtime. However, the portion is huge for the price, and they offer free refill for sliced cabbage, miso soup and rice. The Tonkatsu is so crispy outside and juicy inside. You can either take it to go or eat in. The satff are very attentive and really sweet :)
