e	emiko yoshida on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2019年1月26日、10時からの現地説明会に参加してきました。4世紀後半の築造。改めての発掘調査の結果、レーダー測量値110mに合致する109mと推定され、円墳として日本最大と証明されたよう。最寄り駅、富雄か学園前からバス。丸山橋で下車し徒歩5分ほど。普段は、住宅地にあるブランコ等がある公園。前方後円墳の後円部径100m超は全国に50基あるそうで、実際に見る前はそれほどでもないんじゃないかと不謹慎にも思っていたが実際に登頂部まで上がって見ると、周囲が遥かに見下ろせる規模で感動。副葬品については残念ながら盗掘に遭っていたことも発掘口の所在から分かっているよう。しかし、今回見つかった中の鍬形石の破片は、京都国立博物館所蔵の鍬形石とぴったり一致するとか。今後5年をかけて墳頂部を掘り下げていく予定と聞き、今後も期待が高まります。 On January 26, 2019, I participated in the field presentation meeting from 10 o'clock.
