道案内を10分程してもらった。 場所はちょっと分かりづらいかも。 オフィスビルの17階だったかな。 グーグルマップだけでは迷うと思います。 カウンターは2席しかないので、待つ事もあります。

実家が熊本市内にあり、将来のUターンの準備資金の積立が当面の口座開設の目的で、個人の口座開設を希望し訪問。 11時35分に到着すると、応対の女性行員に、コロナ対応で11時半~12時半は受付対象外であると告げられた。 5分程度の誤差ならば顧客志向でご対応いただけるとありがたいと思ったが、その女性行員は私に訪問目的と口座開設目的を尋ね、「明確な目的のない者のために口座開設はできない」旨を仰られた。 上記のとおり、私には移住のための積立という目的はあるとお伝えしたし、何よりUターン後は肥後銀行をメインバンクとして実家の住居問題、子供の学資問題、相続問題など様々な面でのパートナーとして相談したいことはたくさんあった。 しかし、銀行の経営方針なのか、教育が行き届いていないのか、はたまたその女性行員にそういったことへの想像性が全くなく、対応時間外に新規口座開設という面倒な顧客対応をしたくなかったのか分からないが、とにかくお前とは取引するつもりはないから帰れと言わんばかりの涼しい対応に終始された。 いつもは懐かしい郷土訛が今日ほど耳障りに感じた日はない。 今回の件で幼い頃から感じていた肥後銀行への親近感は完全にゼロになった。地元の親族や友人一同にもネガティブキャンペーンを張りたい程、あまりに憤懣遣る方ない。 私は銀行経営は門外漢だが、地銀受難と言われている時代でも取るに足らないリテールなどどうでもよいということなのだろうか? ★1つの評価すらもしたくない。
