F	Flaviu Rizeanu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A temple which deserves to be visited - great panoramic view but you need to climb stairs. There's no entry fee. If you go to Nara park add it to your visit list - is specific for this area and in walking distance.
K	Katie Cullen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Todaiji is the location of the Omizutori held annually, quite a cool event if you're in the area while it's on, expect to stand around for a while. It gets quite busy and if you want to be closer to the front of the line, I recommend getting there early. The temple itself is quite a site, it's a huge wooden structure and quite beautiful.
B	Bruno Schwizer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really like this side temple. Was top 5 for me in Nara. Good view. Very old temple. Free to walk around outside. Can see some exhibits posted on the he windows. There is a very old gong that we were allowed to ring. Also saw some real (monks?) In white robes walking to someplace. Seems like this place/area is still being used. Washroom nearby and a eating/waiting area.

C	Charles on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have a very nice view because it build on top of the hill. Go there to see it your self. Even though it is not as famous as kiymizu dera and also don't have the majestic view, and the crowd of tourists but it is quite and tranquility.

A	Anemone on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good place, I went here when there was Omizutori festival at night. They keep very good healthy protocol during this situation, although there was many people attending.
S	Shingo Sae-Lim on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (Trip was made back then on 21 Nov 2019, 2 years before the Covid-19 Pandemic hit) It is said that Nigatsudo has a beautiful view overlooking Nara, particularly during sunset. Unfortunately, I was unable to experience that as it was still daytime when I was there but the view was still just as splendid.
