初	初花さなえ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「朱雀門ひろば」からだと徒歩で約１５分程で近くに駐車場もあります。日本最古級の庭園ですが大きく２期に作庭されていて当初は単純な逆L字の池だった事が調査で判明していますが面白味に欠けるからか復原せず平安時代の庭を想像させる２期目で復原されています。藤原氏が全盛期の平安時代中期の寝殿造に伴う日本最古の作庭書の「前栽秘抄」を参考に復原されているようで第一次大極殿の展示でも出てくる青龍や白虎が此方の庭園にも当てはまるので予習して訪れると面白いと思います。この柳はそうだったのね！ It takes about 15 minutes on foot from "Suzakumon Square" and there is a parking lot nearby.
