★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 南大門は本堂の真北にあり 道路沿いにある門から 境内を覗くと 真正面に本堂が見えます
南大門は1602年の再建で 造りは切妻造りの 四脚門で 本瓦葺きです また国の重要文化財に指定されています
また 本堂のお参り後に 本堂階段に座り 靴を履き立ち上がると 右手には美しい庭園の木々が目を引き 左手には池に浮かぶ護摩堂と ソノ奥の鐘楼とが優雅に並び 奥行きある情景を造り出しています そして正面に位置する南大門に続く遊歩地には ジャミ石が広く敷かれ 境内をヨリ一層広く 美しく見せるための意図が伺えます
更に来訪した今の季節は 丁度サクラの時期でもあり とてもイイ日になりました❗
Namdaemun is just north of the main hall. If you look into the precincts from the gate along the road, you can see the main hall in front.
Namdaemun was reconstructed in 1602 and the structure is a gabled quadruped gate.
Also, after visiting the main hall, sitting on the main hall stairs and standing up with shoes, the trees on the right side draw a lot of eyes and the left side is elegantly lined with Gomado floating on the pond and the bell tower behind Sono and creating a deep scene. In the promenade that leads to Namdaemun in front, you can hear the intention to make the precincts look wider and more beautiful.
Furthermore, the current season we visited was just the time of cherry blossoms, and it was a very nice day.

Hokke-ji Namdaemun is located just south of the main hall as the main gate. It is said that it was built in the Momoyama period with a gabled and genuine tile-roofed four-legged gate.
