S	SJ Cruiser on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great staff, owner is sure accommodating to all comers. Food is great; Sunday carvery is the best meal in town! Great atmosphere for expats and Japanese wanting to speak English. Definitely recommended!

K	Kevin Borough on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came in for the Guinness. Left really enjoying the food. The Guinness was cold and fresh, some of the best I’ve had in japan. Started with the curry fries. The fries were average but the curry was very very good. Worth getting for sure. Had a Shepard’s pie which was very traditional and tasty. Did not opt for the fish and chips because it’s pretty hard to mess them up. I would assume from looking at them that they were delicious. Also tried the rice with spicy curry(can’t remember the name). Probably the best thing I had. It was spicy, but not enough to be unenjoyable. John the owner was great, came and introduced himself and I could see him working away in the kitchen helping to prepare the food. Nice to see an owner not afraid to get his hands dirty. Great British bar, I will definitely be back
E	Eddie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bar itself is quite nice, and the staff professional. The owner however is the sort who "gets high on his own supply." Needless to say he was a tad pushy and rude during our visit. Overcharged amd hassled for the night he made sure to make us feel unwelcomed which having lived in the area for nearly a decade was an unusual experience. If I have any advice to offer it would be pay careful attention to see he isn't drinking on your tab, and if you can avoid the place altogether there is a roomier and better serviced pub down the road a little further.

If you are a non smoker or smoker this place is for you. If you would like to have a chat with the bartenders, they will talk to you. The owner is a nice guy he talks to you for a bit but doesn’t talk to you all night. Great place great people.

I'd would imagine it would be a great place to catch up with mates, have a few pints, chin wag and watch the EPL.

The jovial West Country Landlord will regale you with jokes until the cows come home, while you salivate over his fantastic authentic British dishes. Oh and the beer... there’s a lot of it. You won’t get thirsty. Full marks to the Tavern!

For locals and foreigners alike, this is a great place to relax and indulge in good times after having had a hard work week. My favorite pub in Yokohama!
