★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely incredible place if you're into pinball. Almost 100 different machines all kept in excellent condition. Everything from The Twilight Zone and The Addam's Family to newer titles like Mustang and Deadpool. Some of the older tables are even half price (50 yen instead of 100). Easily spent a full day here soaking in the experience. Last weekend of every month they run open tournaments too. Very English friendly.
The surrounding area is also well worth exploring. The whole place is like Osaka's attempt at emulating a 1980s American suburban atmosphere. Lots of cool indie music and clothing stores.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing location for pinball and retro games lovers, in the popular Ame-mura district of Osaka.
This is undoubtedly the largest collection of pinballs in all Japan, with dozens of games gathered. You will find here some of the first pinball games, and the latest ones. Popular themes that i saw include Star Wars, Indiana Jones, The Addams Family, Back to the Future, KISS, ACDC, Guns N'Roses... They also have popular tables like Medial Madness and other original ones.
Most games are 100 yen (a few are a bit cheaper).
All tables are in great condition. They are organized by themes: music, science-fiction, oldies, etc.
A visit not to be missed when you go to Osaka.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An unbelievable line up of games... basically any cool pinball machine made in the past 25-30 years it's here. All the machines are well maintained and in great working order. Almost all the games are ¥100. If you like pinball and you're in Osaka, you have to come here. The only problem is it closes at 8pm on week days...it really should be open 24/7.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A breathtaking collection of pinball machines that ranges decades, from true classics, rare finds and brand new film tie-ins. The price to play is affordable and the space is clean. If you're a pinball fan this is your heaven and if you're only here to waste a bit of time, you'll have a blast. Such a fun little find!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been to a few places which offer pinball and frankly I have left underwhelmed each time, but not here. The owner and staff clearly care about the tables, and the experience you will have really shows that. Everything was working perfectly (OK Haunted House had a slightly iffy right flipper but it was not a game ender....And one minor issue over how many games? ) The tilt sensor is also very generous so you can easily release a stuck ball. A few places I played it was so tight that a stuck ball would cause a tilt and drain the ball.
I don't know how they acquire things so quickly but Im glad they do! Really enjoyed the modern tables. The website has a really well kept list of games too. One thing to mention there is that Attack from Mars is listed under "Repairs" but it's actually fine. Revenge from Mars is the one not on the floor right now. I will be on the next Nozomi down when it gets put back in service as I have been meaning to play it for twenty years plus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Load up with 100 ¥ coins and spend an hour or two playing on the most incredible array of pinball machines I have ever seen. I had no idea how fun these were and came back several times whilst in Osaka. Some really interesting (and challenging!) machines!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nostalgia overload at The Silver Ball Planet. Located right in Osaka’s hip Amemura neighborhood, this place was a treat to find. With a range of new machines to classic favorites, you’ll be sure to find some nostalgia in the rows and rows of games. Only downside was I had thought it was a bar and also there was not a great place to put down backpacks and jackets while playing except for the floor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you visit Osaka you must come here! Just don’t be misled by the small area of pinball machines on the first floor of the Big Step shopping center. You want to take the curved escalator up to the 3rd floor where the actual shop is. There are sooooo many fun pinball machines including fun vintage one and more recent ones. Pop a 1,000 yen in the Change machine and see how long you can make your ten 100 yen coins last. Each machine is 100 yen per play and there are even a few that are 2 plays for 100 yen. Great for couples, friend, or families/kids. On the first floor of the Big Step shopping center you’ll also find a strawberry cake vending machine.
