The chef prepares the ground beef patties with larger diced bits of meat, fat, and gristle, giving the patties a texture similar to bitting into a steak. The way he cooks the patty turning it between his two spatulas over the heat also gives it the same flavor of char you get from a broiled steak without being too strong. The patties were also just thick enough that you could get a good mouthful of seared meat with every bite. Pairing this patty with the slight sweetness of the takuan and relish he puts between the patty and the other toppings works really well with the slight bitter smokey flavor of the char. I first came upon the restaurant just half an hour before closing, but absolutely had to go back the next day for another burger. I have gone to many burger joints over the years, but this is the first place that had a patty with a flavor and texture that stood out so distinctly.

B	Brian Rooney on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best burger in Osaka. I've had a lot of really great burgers in Osaka - and this is my favorite! Char-grilled patty cooked medium-rare - lots of flavor. Dinner burgers come with fries AND salad instead of having to make that choice between healthy and tasty. Menu is in English and most of the staff speak enough to make westerners feel comfortable. Service was friendly and efficient. Choices of toppings were plentiful. This company has another shop in Awaza area called Burgerlion - also very good, but this burger was just a wee bit better in my humble opinion. Try them both and decide for yourself!

Purposely turned her back on the customers. Cooking staff don't wear masks. Burger was mediocre at best, cooked super well done. The "bacon" was chewy, undercooked ham. Super overpriced for the quality and service (~¥3500 for two people)
M	Mike P on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a very good burger. The thing that got me was actual crispy wedge fries. Which the rest of Japan seems incapable of making. Burger was good with nice smokey bacon. A bit of lettuce on the side was a nice touch but if you want more order a salad. As mentioned by others you must order a drink. The wait staff isn't the friendliest but they did what was needed. Overall due to the quality of the burger and fries I would definitely go back and recommend.
