★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fresh tasty sushi that is good value. It’s near a couple of theatres and so evening and late crowd can include theatre goers and actors. The nigiri was good. The maki pretty basic and poorly made as they fell apart when trying to eat. Fast turnover and staff a mixture of friendly and not so, as with many places. Main thing the fish was fresh. You brush the soy sauce on the fish, which is the correct method apparently.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a disappointing experience overall, some of the ingredients used isn't the freshest (like the uni). As I was seated at the far end, I observed the staff sneezing at the dish washing area and not washing his hands before handling clean dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lunch at Toki Sushi’s twice in last three weeks. Location is walking distance from Kuromon market and easy to find. English menus available for non-Japanese speaking customers. Based on my experiences, the types of sushi are inconsistent even ordered same premium set (8 pcs at yen 3,200) at respective visit. The second visit set quality was not worth the price. More cooked sushi and not fresh fish sushi. It's better to order ala carte than set. So that you know what you get.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff were friendly but feels like the value of this place has gone downhill over time. We ordered the 12 piece set and only received cheap cuts of sushi. Was very disappointed to see that uni or toro is NO LONGER included in the omakase. Uni rice bowl was alright but hardly a deal at 2200 yen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went at 1130am. Had about 3 groups in front of us. The wait was not too long. They led us upstairs and offered an English menu. Service was good and responsive! The sushis here are really value for money at 150yen for ether 1 or 2 pieces depending on the type. The more expensive ones go for 450-550 yen. Ordered their recommended flamed sushi as well! If you are looking for something good and affordable, this is the place!

Delicious sushi and great staff.
Not very fancy or anything but the sushi was quick, delicious, and nicely presented!
The broiled sushi platter was really nice on a cold day and only 1400¥ for 8 pieces.
Everything tasted delicious and fresh!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was a 15 minutes wait for this restaurant but it was well worth it ! We sat at the bar and ordered a sushi set and added ala-carte options on top. Delicious to fill our stomachs after site seeing Osaka for the day. We sat across from the sushi chefs, close enough to see their craft. Chefs prepared the sushi front of us and handed us our orders directly. Overall great sushi for the price and very memorable meal in Osaka.
