★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great natural rice fields and view to the sea. You should either take the bus to Art Museum-mae or ride an electric bike there.
Leave your bags in coin lockers because small movements can create loud echoes inside.
Only downside to this is that you can't take photos inside. But the water artwork is amazing. Sit for at least a few minutes to listen to the cicadas and birds. Great for meditation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are no any artworks here except the museum itself. Teshima Art Museum is an impressive artwork with the unique and peaceful atmosphere. It’s not allow to take photos inside the museum, but it’s OK to take pictures outside. In my personal thoughts, it’s totally worthy to visit this place even the ticket price isn’t cheap. You might be able to find the most relaxing moment here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really wonderful and unique experience. The Teshima Art Museum is one of the most interesting works I’ve visited, and allowed you to really feel connected to your surroundings and nature. Would definitely recommend for anyone in the area. Wasn’t allowed to take photographs inside, but even if we could, you really have to see it in real life to experience it fully.
The cafe also had delicious donuts and soda using Teshima strawberries!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful serene cave of wonder, wind, natural views through the portals and the ebb and flow of water as it drifts across the floor. No photos or shoes allowed inside & no talking or noise of any kind. Visitors staggered to retain integrity of a quiet & contemplative visit. Wonderful views of the coast from around the facility.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing art space and such a great experience! You need to make quite an effort to get to this place but it is well worth it! Great combination of art, architecture and nature. Make sure to bring enough time. This place should not be enjoyed in a hurry. The cafe is also very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was the best masterpiece I have ever seen! Better than all Naoshima galleries. You must plan as much time as possible, you can do re-entry too. Every minute it looks different! I would like to see it on the rainy day too - it should be looking even more interesting! Pros: have warmer socks and consider renting the bike or taking the bus from Teshima ports.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't appreciate this art, sorry for that. There is only 1 artwork here, which is a big dome with nothing inside, but water popping from the floor. Photos are not allowed, and I understood why after visiting. Scenery outside is worth more considering the price (beautiful scenery from the top of the island; but no place to sit, see from road). It might sound harsh, but I wonder if there is hysteria from people who say here is one "best place," or here is one place "to feel calm and nature." It is more like a bias to make you feel good from making the wrong decision to spend a lot of money and several hours coming here. If you want calm, just go outside this place, there are many quiet places in nature on this island. Or actually, they just want to trap people to face what they faced? This is one biggest mistake on my trip.
* To make it clear the place itself is not that bad. But the cost; it would take you About 3-4K for transportation, +almost 2K for entrance ticket. It also took one whole day; you may have to wait for hours for the next ferry. And after that cost, they won't allow you to take photos for your memory. I hope you understand why I was disappointed
