★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for informal, cosy, lively dinner. They have a few seats at the counter (where we sat) and traditional seating tables.
The Otonomayakis that we tried were the best of our trip in Japan. Had the classic and the queen one cooked in front of us. Chefs are all the time saying greeting words to new customers or new orders or drinks. Great cosy atmosphere. Service was very attentive and nice. It has a menu in English as well. The place is in underground level. No wonder it had such good reviews in trip advisor as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always a huge treat to dine here, with friendly, outgoing service and big servings of delicious Hiroshima style okonomiyaki. I love the food here, and the prices aren’t too steep. The wagyu steak is great too! A fantastic place to enjoy with friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure where to start to describe this phenomenal place. The food, the friendly staff and amazing service, the ambience and the fun? It has it all. It's a small place serving, among other things, Hiroshima style okonomiyaki. Many of the dishes here are done Hiroshima style, actually. The t-shirts are for sale and the cute "teppan baby" you get is great food photo bombing material. Just go. And make a reservation first.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow! Want a fun dinner with the kids! This was perfect. Great service, so welcoming. Food was absolutely delicious and quick! Beer was cold and perfect for parents at the end of a long day.
Our family of 2 kids 2 adults got there about 1730 without a reservation. Only two other families dining, and another two arrived during our time there, but it felt spacious and not too noisy.
Menu was easy to order off - good pictures and staff spoke good english. We had original Okonomiyaki and baby queen Okonomiyaki, wagu chunks (amazing - get this!), then ice cream for dessert :))))
Sit at a kind of sunken Japanese table with space underneath for your legs. Very comfy, if a little hard to get into/out of. But adds to the awesomeness!
We at with chopsticks which was fun too. Kids were surprisingly good at it :)
Would go again. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They prefer a reservation but we were able to walk in before it got busy. We loved eating at the bar and watching them make the food. They don't do a show and tricks like they do in the United States just fyi. The staff was very friendly, spoke a little English and provided an English menu. The beef and chicken were delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Okonomiyaki restaurants are getting popular in Tokyo. This one is in the Shinjuku area and mainly caters for tourists. It’s located on the basement of a building but signs are very clear. Food is good (but don’t expect a spectacular okonomiyaki) and service is also good, with good english skills —for Japan—. They have three spaces: a counter where you can see the food being prepared, a couple of regular tables and some japanese tables where you need to take off your shoes. Prices are reasonable. My main problem and why it loses one star is that it’s still a smoking restaurant. Come on Tokyo! It’s almost 2020 and you’re hosting the olympics! Smoking should be banned in every restaurant!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are not in Hiroshima, this is a good place to eat a Hiroshima Style Okonomiyaki with noodles. Choose the seat on the counter, then you can appreciate the art to do “Yaki”. Okonomiyaki was delicious, including the appetizers for sharing as scallops and chicken. Beer was very cold and I could drink a lot even in the lunch time of Sunday. If you visit Shinjuku area, this place is a good choice.
