 Hill climb from Nose Onsen entrance. Since the car hardly passes, you can enjoy with confidence.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ R173の旧道でカフェ「ツリーハウス」を過ぎると峠の頂上で、そこからは現R173の合流地点まで堆積物多めのひっそりルート。通行止めになっているがバイクはすり抜けられる。
After the cafe "tree house" on the old road of R173, it is the top of the fort, and from there there is a quiet route with a large amount of sediment to the confluence point of the current R173. It is closed but the bike can pass by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ピーク付近はだいぶ路面が荒れていてジャリジャリします。ピーク以外は、小石と堆積物あるものの路面は比較的良好です。区間開始点の分岐路に通行止めの看板ありますが、自転車は(物理的には)通行可能です。天王峠は交通量多く大型も通るので、自転車はこちらを通るのも選択肢になるかと思います。林道エリアの斜度は6-8%ほどで、激坂はありません。
Near the peak, the road surface is very rough and gritty. Except for the peak, the road surface with pebbles and deposits is relatively good. There is a closed sign at the start of the section, but bicycles are (physically) accessible. As Tenno Pass passes a lot of traffic and a large size, I think bicycles can be an option to go here. The slope of the forest road area is about 6-8%, and there is no intense slope.

I used to drive when I was a kid (about 45 years ago). At that time, there was a fixed-route bus running and the road was narrow, and I remember that steep slopes and hairpin curves continued.
