It's called an observatory because it's overgrown with vegetation, but you can hardly see the surrounding scenery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2017年 秋の台風21号によって この近くにある 国道173号線の山側の法面がコンクリートブロック毎 崩落して 2ヶ月近くたった現在ですら 通行止めを食らってます。
もっと早く復旧すると思ってたんですが 生活道路の一つなので じわじわと影響が出始めてます
Due to Typhoon No. 21 in the fall of 2017, the mountain side slope of the nearby National Route 173 has collapsed every concrete block, and even now it has been closed for about two months now.
I thought it would be restored sooner, but it's one of the roads in my life, so I'm starting to see the impact gradually.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ホントになんにもなかった。階段まで整備された、意味の無い空き地。隣の福住大橋は下の篠山市街地まで遮るもののない見晴らしだったので期待して立ち寄ったのだが、何を展望するんだここは…… 鬱蒼と木が茂ってました。
There was really nothing. A meaningless vacant lot with stairs. The neighboring Fukuzumi Ohashi had an unobstructed view of the city of Sasayama below, so I stopped by in anticipation, but what are you looking at here ... dense and thick trees.

展望台としては特にどこかが見渡せるところもなく
できた当時は篠山方面が見渡せたのかもしれないが
今は木が覆い隠して見渡せず
Good point to rest
There is no place to look around especially as a viewing platform
At the time I could do it, I could have overlooked the direction of Emeizan
Now the trees are covered and don't look around
