★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got in a long line at 11:30 am, line moved fast, and it’s tourist friendly. Menu in Chinese & English. Definitely a must try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really tasty kushikatsu, made fresh right in front of you. Unfortunately there are no English menus, and you sort of order as you eat, so it's not terribly foreigner friendly. If you speak some Japanese and you don't mind waiting in line, it's a pretty good place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a traditional store very close to 八重勝. In fact, I don't like fried foods, just for try.
If you are looking for a store for trying 串炸, here is your goods choice. Not only 八重勝

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious kushikatsu. It's not as foreigner-friendly (no English menu etc) as some of the other options around Osaka, but it tastes much better.
I highly recommend the doteyaki (it's the sticks in the boiling pots of miso-mirin sauce) which is bits of beef, gristle and tendon which are cooked until they're super soft and tender. You can also just ask for "kushikatsu" which is a stick of plain beef. "ebi" for 3 prawns deep fried together, "tamago" for a deep fried hard boiled egg, or just "osusume" for the person's personal favorites, which means you won't know what's coming. They also have vegetables there. Perhaps you could point. I think things are generally around ¥100 a stick, but stuff like the prawns are a lot more. It's all in kanji but they can write the prices down in numerals on paper for you to see.
Before I could speak Japanese, other customers would help me, and the Chinese speaking staff member is really helpful. Make sure you don't double dip into the brown sauce. That's about it. There can be long queues outside. Enjoy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best one I ever had! You can easily to order everything in Madeleine or Japanese. But if you want to try it in English order, I will suggest order as below: beff roll / pork / oyster (fall only) / taco/ / shrimp/ egg / onion / mushroom. Of course, try everything with Japanese beer !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be prepared to queue especially during lunch hours. The skewers are normal ingredients but the way they deep fried with their batter and breadcrumbs is what makes them unique. The sauce that comes with it is light yet flavourful (remember no double dipping!)
Loved their beef tendon! Will definitely want to visit this place again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very tasty if not healthy! There was a bit of a line outside but they got people in quickly. It is all counter seating and the food comes out of the fryer and right to you. There is almost no English spoken but the staff were still very kind to me and let me point at what I wanted. The peppers and asparagus were extremely flavorful and the shrimp and egg were very satisfying and filling. The one non fried item appears to be tendon and or tripe slow simmered in sauce. Even though I usually find those meats chewy, this was not.
