After ordering, there’s self serve tea, ginger and pepper on the table you can use. I ordered the tendon matsu that came with a deep fried conger eel, shrimp, pepper, egg and pumpkin. There was good and bad where the eel was amazing but the shrimp was soggy. The rice is pre-sauced which I thought they drowned the rice a little too much. I heard other people had a better experience so maybe I went at a bad time.

Absolutely exquisite and generous bowls of perfectly fried seafood, fish, eel and veggies on top of perfectly sticky rice. Delicious palate cleansing pickled ginger and cabbage available to self serve on the table and fresh Asahi from the tap - one could not wish for more. Will come back as soon as possible!

J	Jonathan Wirawan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best bowl of Tendon (天丼) I've ever tasted. It is located 300 m from Tameike-sanno station (Tokyo Metro Ginza Line). I ordered their signature bowl that consist of 穴子 -Anago (Salt water eels) , deep fried soft boiled egg, Laver (Seaweed) and green pepper.

The yolky onsen egg they give you with the set is so so important mixed with the saucy rice and the eel tastes amazing!! Highly recommended. It gets busy around 12:30 and they’re only open from like 11:30-2. BUT DEFINITELY GO!!
