P	Patrick W. van Deursen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very friendly owner and cook. explains very well the different options for the menu wich he selects carefully. The tempura is very light and the different ingredients are a great tasting experience. the place is small so a reservation is a wise action.

I love how his food always comes out light and crisp, and my stomach never feels heavy after eating the fried food. (it is not sunflower oil. it is cotton-seed....with a bit of sesame oil) There are two items on the menu for lunch, and the dinner is omakase (chef's choice) for about 6,500 yen. My favorites are white fish. They are quite soft and fluffy. His non-tempura dishes are fabulous, too, however, the menu is in Japanese only, and he speaks no English. Be adventurous and just pick a couple. You won't be disappointed. It is closed on Sundays and holidays, and please check time for it is closed during the late afternoon.

The chef is very friendly and has been running the shop for 50 years. His single minded dedication to his craft shows itself in the quality of the tempura. A must-visit.

The lunch menu has two choices, tendon set and tempura set. We each tried one set... and both were delicious. The clientele looked like a mix of expats and old Japanese customers who want to enjoy a traditional meal. The prices were a little higher than the average lunch menu. However the food and traditional were worth it. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area and ready to enjoy a traditional Japanese meal.
