天気が良い日で湖面が大変奇麗なブルーでした。
新緑とのコントラストもよく、得した一日でした。
 I visited Dowa on May 19th.
The weather was fine and the lake surface was very beautiful blue.
The contrast with fresh green was good, it was a day I got.

途中から階段が２ルートに分かれていました。(なぜ？)
You have to use the stairs, but you can overlook the dam from a high place.
The stairs were divided into two routes from the middle. (why?)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ グリーンの宝仙湖を眺めるならここが一番。玉川ダムの湖が見渡せる。日によって変わるエメラルドグリーンの湖、11月初めには紅葉は終わりかけ。カリヨンの鐘は手動で鳴らせますが、結構恥ずかしかった。
This is the best place to see the green Lake Hosen. You can see the lake of Tamagawa Dam. An emerald green lake that changes from day to day, the autumn leaves are about to end in early November. The carillon bell can be ringed manually, but it was quite embarrassing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 玉川ダム資料館の入口にあります。一階がトイレになっており階段を登って三階か四階相当の高さにカリヨンの鐘はあります。鐘は全部で９つ有りますが真ん中にある大きな鐘は手動で鳴らせます。とても気持ちがいいでのですが頭上で轟音が鳴り響くのでお覚悟を…。大きな鐘の周りに小さな鐘が８つ並んでおり毎時、正時に鳴り響きます。こちらはメロディーを奏でるので何の曲が鳴り響くかは現地で体験してみて下さい。
こちらから晴天の時は玉川ダムが青く輝くのが見渡せるので立ち寄ってみて下さい。もちろん無料ですのでトイレ休憩だけでもありですが折角なので上のカリヨンの鐘も鳴らしてみて下さいね。
It is located at the entrance of the Tamagawa Dam Museum. The first floor is a toilet, and you can climb the stairs to find the carillon bell at the height of the third or fourth floor. There are nine bells in all, but the big bell in the middle can be ringed manually. It feels very good, but be prepared for the roaring sound above you. Eight small bells are lined up around the big bell and ring every hour on the hour. This is a melody, so please experience what kind of song sounds on the spot.
From here, you can see the Tamagawa Dam shining blue when the weather is fine, so please stop by. Of course, it's free, so it's just a restroom break, but it's a good idea, so please ring the carillon bell above.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ のんびりダムを見るには高評価。ここまでのアクセスは大変ですが、紅葉もたぶん綺麗なんだと思います。男神山と女神山も素敵でした。
Highly rated to see the dam leisurely. Access to this point is difficult, but I think the autumn leaves are probably beautiful. Ogamisan and Megamisan were also wonderful.

１時間に一回は鐘のオルゴールが鳴るけど、登って自分で鳴らそう(^^♪

There is also the Tamagawa Museum (free) (* ^^ *)
The bell music box rings once an hour, but let's climb and ring it ourselves (^^ ♪
