た	たま“tamatyan”ちゃん on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ かつての田中の鎮守は大永年間（一五二一～一五二七）に修覆したと伝承されている風田社であった。この社は日月宮と称し、風の神様として尊敬されていたが、その地域一帯が拝島村の所管となったために、宝暦一〇（一七六〇）年二月に村の中央部に稲荷神を勧請し奉斉したことに始る。稲荷大明神として村人に崇敬されていたが、多摩川の洪水の被害を受けたため、明治二年に田中寺の隣地に遷宮し、稲荷神社と改称した。その後、昭和一五年には都道の予定敷地になったため、現在の場所に遷宮した。宇迦之御魂神を主祭神として、猿田毘古命、大宮毘売命、大己貴命　少那毘古命を奉斉している。境内の末社には白山神社（白山比咋命）があるが、この神社は貞享二（一六八五）年の秋に多摩川の大洪水があり、対岸の作目村の七〇戸が流失し、二戸が大神と田中の間に替地を得て移住した。そして、白山神社の分霊を勧請して奉斉したのである。また、外に須佐之男命を祀る八雲神社がある。 The former guardian of Tanaka was Kazeda-sha, which is said to have been overthrown during the Daiei era (1521-1527). There is Hakusan Shrine (Hakusan Himei) at the end of the precincts, but this shrine was washed away by the flood of the Tama River in the fall of 1685, and 70 houses in Sakume Village on the opposite bank were washed away.
