★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この多聞神社は、香川県丸亀市綾歌町栗熊東に位置します。ここは、琴電琴平線の栗熊駅から南方面に少し行った道沿いの右側の小高くなった所にある。この多聞神社(毘沙門天)前の川(元、堀跡)の東側は、元、中村城跡である。宝暦１２年(1762年)この中村城跡に長尾嘉右衛門と云う豪農がいた。長尾大隅守没落後､縁のある嘉右衛門が毘沙門天を信仰し、この堂宇を建立したのである。この毘沙門天は武神として崇敬厚い。嘉右衛門の菩提寺は成満寺で、現在は廃寺になっている。
 This Tamon Shrine is located in Kurikuma Higashi, Ayauta-cho, Marugame City, Kagawa Prefecture. This is a slightly elevated place on the right side along the road that went a little south from Kurikuma Station on the Kotohira-Line. The east side of the river (former moat ruins) in front of this Tamon Shrine (Bishamonten) is the former Nakamura castle ruins. In the 12th year of the Horeki (1762), there was a wealthy farmer named Kaemon Nagao at the site of Nakamura Castle. After the fall of Nagao Osumi Mamoru, Kaemon, who had a connection, worshiped Bishamonten and built this Dou. This Bishamonten is revered as a warrior god. The family temple of Kaemon is Jomanji, which is now abandoned.
