★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この正八幡神社は、香川県丸亀市綾歌町富熊に位置します。ここは、小山の小高い所にあり､宮の前に南面して鎮座している。この神社は旧村社八幡神社で、地元民は正八幡神社と呼んでいる。祭神は応神天皇、神功皇后、日本武尊の三神である。後世、京都の男山(石清水)八幡を勧請したので正八幡宮と称したと言われている。又、この神社は、虫除けの祈祷所として高松藩主の崇敬の厚い神社であった。祭礼は古今讃岐名勝図絵には、旧暦の八月十五日とあるが、現在は新暦の十月に行なわれている。
This Shohachiman Shrine is located in Tomikuma, Ayauta-cho, Marugame City, Kagawa Prefecture. It is located on a small hill in a small mountain, facing south in front of the palace. This shrine is the former village shrine Hachiman Shrine, and locals call it Sho Hachiman Shrine. The deities are Emperor Ojin, Empress Jingu, and Yamato Takeru. It is said that it was called Shohachimangu because it solicited Otokoyama (Iwashimizu) Hachiman in Kyoto in posterity. In addition, this shrine was a highly revered shrine of the Takamatsu feudal lord as a prayer place for insect repellent. The festival is held on August 15th of the lunar calendar in the ancient and modern Sanuki scenic spots, but it is currently held in October of the new calendar.
