★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ｢玉津神社」は古くからの歴史を感じさせる神聖な神社です。玉津の入口には大きな御神燈(嘉永年号)が立っていて、その側に玉津神社が鎮座しています。
拝殿には神社の由来が示されています。牛頭天王(ごずてんのう)をお祀りしてあるそうでこれは京都八坂神社が本神社なのです。
また鵯尾城(ひよどりおじょう)の城主武田高信の御霊をお祀りしているとのことです。と同時に地元の方が大切にされている守り神でもあります。
玉津は家に門構えありまた長屋門ありで武家風なにおいする地域で城があった土地としての風格が漂います。
