Ginkgo nuts are actively falling from the 1000-year-old ginkgo tree. Every time, it makes a clicking sound and emits an indescribable odor. The wind is blowing a little stronger today, so the trees are making noise. A new Hachimangu monument is built next to the worship hall of "Kurata Hachimangu" to commemorate the Reiwa Enthronement. The 1000-year-old large ginkgo tree next to the main shrine is alive and protects the shrine, which is still sacred. "Kurata Hachimangu" has been enshrined here since the pre-Kamakura period. Although it was hit by fire due to the invasion of Hideyoshi Hashiba, it survived the burning of the main shrine, and after that it became the center of public and private beliefs as the deity of the Ikeda clan, the lord of the Tottori domain. In the Inaba region, (lion dance) is handed down, and this dance is a Shinto ritual brought from Okayama by the first Tottori feudal lord and has a deep connection with Tottori Toshogu. The precincts are protected as a national natural monument as a flatland virgin forest. If you think about it, this area is lowland and has been severely damaged by the repeated flooding of the Chiyokawa since ancient times. It is a surprising miracle that the virgin forest including such a 1000-year-old big tree is left in the precincts in such an environment. I visited while thinking about such a thing.

I went to a kindergarten for the first time shooting. The shimenawa decoration was changed to the one I found. There was also an explanation by Mr. Miyaji, and I knew that it was the original Kurata Shrine. It had radish, charcoal and a bag. It is said that radish has the meaning of water, charcoal has the meaning of fire, the inside of the bag has the meaning of making rice, and the food that goes into osechi dishes such as rice.
