★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 岩手県二戸市堀野東側に鎮座する武内神社です。御祭神は朝廷の三韓討伐で神功皇后の供をした軍人といわれる、武内宿彌公。仁徳天皇の代に、その竹内宿彌を祀るために創建されたと伝えられます。境内のカツラは二戸市指定天然記念物で、樹高約17m、幹回り6.3m、枝貼り約15mとなかなかの存在感。
有り難く、”武内神社”の御朱印を頂きました。
Takeuchi Shrine is located on the east side of Horino, Ninohe City, Iwate Prefecture. Takenouchi no Sukune is said to be a soldier who served Empress Jingu during the Sankan subjugation of the imperial court. It is said that it was built to worship the Takeuchi Jukuya in the era of Emperor Nintoku. The wig in the precincts is a natural monument designated by Ninohe City, and has a fairly strong presence with a tree height of about 17m, a trunk circumference of 6.3m, and a branch of about 15m.
