2021年8月19日に参拝しました。本名は、下斗米将真(しもとめまさざね)、通称秀之進(ひでのしん)と言います。江戸で平山行蔵の平山道場で実用流を学び、北海防備を唱えました。帰郷後、文政元年に金田一前平(現在の金田一字新田野)に兵聖閣演武場をつくって、門人の育成に励みました。文政4年1821年に津軽藩主の津軽寧親公を秋田県大館市から矢立峠に向う途中の白沢で要撃しようとしましたが、計画が漏れてしまい、未遂となりました。関わりのあった方々に害が及ばないように相馬大作と変名して江戸に移り住みましたが、吏卒に捕らわれます。文政5年1822年獄門となり、小塚原の刑場で首がさらされました。享年34歳でした。門弟の関良助も小塚原で死罪となっています。23歳の若さで亡くなっています。南部公が盛岡の不来方城内に相馬大作を密かに祀った社が、光考社です。城内から盛岡八幡宮に、そして二戸市福岡の横丁、昭和7年1932年に現在の呑香稲荷神社境内に遷座する際に光考社から大作神社に改めました。

I visited on August 19, 2021. His real name is Masazane Shimoto, commonly known as Hidenoshin. In Edo, he learned practical style at Hirayama Dojo in Hirayama Gyozo and advocated North Sea defense. After returning to his hometown, in the first year of the Bunsei era, he established the Kindaichi Maehira (currently Kindaichi Nidano) Bing Sheng Pavilion and worked hard to train his students. In 1821, the lord of the Tsugaru feudal lord, Tsugaru Yasuchika, tried to intercept him at Shirasawa on the way from Odate City, Akita Prefecture to Yasuchika Pass, but the plan was leaked and it was attempted. He changed his name to Soma Daisaku and moved to Edo so as not to harm the people involved, but he was captured by a graduate. Bunsei 5 1822 became a prison gate, and his head was exposed at the Kozukappara prison. I was 34 years old. Ryosuke Seki, a disciple, is also guilty of death in Kozukahara. He died at the young age of 23. Kozukata is a company where Nanbu secretly enshrined Soma Daisaku in the Kozukata castle in Morioka. It was changed from Koukosha to Taisaku Shrine when it was relocated from the castle to Morioka Hachimangu Shrine, and to Yokocho in Fukuoka, Ninohe City, to the precincts of the current Tonko Inari Shrine in 1932.
