★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was there to go Shirakawa-go, it was amazing for me. However, my experience was not good for this bus terminal specifically to go/return from Shirakawa-go because to small number of bus in this route. I am not sure, it might be due to COVID-19 emergency. All other facilities are good here even I found available bus to return in Nagoya. It has coin lockers, smoking zone, public restrooms etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great buses and bus drivers.
In the buses (not always) you can find toilets, usb chargers, consenter, and other options. They drive very safely and often on time.
If you buy ticket they can refund almost 100% keeping only 100 yen as deduction for the cancellation before the departure time. If you come on the same time of course you lose the full amount of the tickets.
on the other side:
Prices are crazy too high
Customer service must improve especially towards foreigners.
You cannot only ask for money because you have the monopolio.
You have to low your prices, improve the quality of the services especially at the front desk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bus center is very easy to find, just steps away from Takayama JR train station. There are ample coin locker available.
The queue to go up to the bus is a bit confusing, so don't hesitate to ask the staff where are you supposed to queue.
If you have big luggage, the driver will help you to carry in to the bus, there are only 2 empty seats allocated to put luggage, so I recommend to queue up early.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff very helpful, you can buy ticket to Shirakawa-go village here. The bus ticket is set in to 3 type A, B, C. If you bought Toayama Hoakuriku tourist pass like us. You should looking for time table of ticket type C. Bus will depart every hours. For way back, you should do reserved seat with ticket counter.
