★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 事務所の近くに別棟でトイレがあります。少々古いですが、綺麗に管理されています。終点の鉾田駅に着いて、トイレがあって助かった事が何回かあります。
There is a toilet in a separate building near the office. It is a little old, but it is well maintained. There are several times I arrived at Hokoda Station at the end of the station and was saved because there was a toilet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鉾田市街を県道8号線で西へ進んだ所にあるバスターミナルビル兼営業所。かつての鹿島鉄道駅舎の跡地に営業所が置かれている。鉄道廃線後は一般道と軌道跡地のバス専用道を走行して石岡駅まで鉄道代替輸送を行っている。
過疎化が進み、自家用車利用が多い北関東の交通事情から必ずしも便利とは言えないバス路線の本数の少なさには愚痴の一つも言いたくなるが、それでも常磐線の石岡駅と水戸駅、直ぐ近くの鹿島臨海鉄道の新鉾田駅、茨城空港といった交通の要衝にキチンと接続してそこそこの本数を運行して地元の足を守っている。またここの営業所からは東京駅に接続する高速バス路線も運行されている。
A bus terminal building and sales office located west of Hokota City on Prefectural Road 8. The sales office is located on the site of the former Kashima Railway Station building. After the discontinuation of the railway, the railway alternative transportation is carried out to Ishioka Station by traveling on the general road and the bus-only road on the track site.
I would like to complain about the small number of bus routes that are not always convenient due to the traffic conditions in Kita-Kantou, where depopulation is progressing and many private cars are used, but even so, Ishioka Station and Mito Station on the Joban Line, It connects to the nearby transportation hubs such as Shin-Hokota Station and Ibaraki Airport on the Kashima Rinkai Railway, and operates a decent number of trains to protect the local feet. There is also a highway bus line that connects to Tokyo Station from this office.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 営業所自体は、最終バス発車前よりかなり早い１８時には業務を終えてしまうので、注意が必要。（人はいるが）
回数券などの購入ができるが、クレジットカードは使えない。
少々古びていてちょっと身構えてしまいますが、営業所脇に建つトイレを借用できるのは大変ありがたい（所内に人がいるときにはひと声かけて利用しましょう）。特に、冬の寒い中、簡単な屋根しか付いていない吹きっさらしのバス停で待っているときは大いに助かります。
欲を言えば、雨風をしのげる簡単な遮蔽板状のものがあればより一層ありがたいです。

If you say greed, it would be even more appreciated if there was a simple shielding plate that could withstand wind and rain.
