★ ★ ★ ★ ★ かなり前の事、寧波(中国)に赴任していた友人が遊びに来いと言うのでパスポートが必要になりました。当時は丹波市に赴任中だったので神戸かなと思い調べてみると県内4ヶ所で発行している事が分かり、この際中々行く事の無さそうな所と思い但馬飛行場にしました。申請と受け取りで2回訪ねましたが丘陵の上で気持ちの良い所でした。他の方の写真にも有りますが、YS11など数機が展示されていましたね。帰りは出石に立ち寄り蕎麦を食べて帰った記憶があります。

At this time, I thought it would be unlikely that I would go to Tajima Airport. I visited twice for application and receipt, but it was a pleasant place on the hill. As you can see in the photos of other people, several aircraft such as the YS11 were on display. On the way back, I remember stopping by Izushi and eating soba.

名前だけ聞いたことがあったので試しに観光目的で行ってみた。
滑走路は1つしか無い小さい空港だが、綺麗でいろいろ見るところあり。
まず空港前の駐車場無料。3Fには展望台あり。お土産屋、カフェもあって建物がすごく綺麗。入り口にはストリートピアノ。特産品のカバンの販売もあり。さらに昔の飛行機の展示もあり。少し離れたところに空港レストランまで。
地方にありがちな寂れた空港かと思っていましたが、予想をはるかに上回りました。ちなみに滑走路の横にキャンプ場があって笑えます。誰が考えたのか。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 『コウノトリ但馬空港』です。2021年11月現在のフライトは大阪伊丹空港への2往復だけです。小さな空港なので1階だけですが、お土産屋さんの他に喫茶店もありました。豊岡駅経由城崎温泉へのシャトルバスは飛行機が到着後15分ほどで出発します。運賃の支払いは現金のみですが、車内の両替機が壊れていて、お釣りが出ないと言われ、急遽喫茶店までいって小銭を崩してもらいました。この空港は山の中にあるため霧の影響を受けやすく、霧のため着陸できない時は伊丹空港に引き返す可能性のある条件付きのフライトになることが多いです、

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 規模の小さな空港ですが、屋上からターミナルエプロンや離発着の様子を一望できます。
常設展示されている機体も想像していたよりずっと近くから見ることができて楽しい。
併設の公園の一部がキャンプ場として営業されているのはとても面白いです。

非常に眺めがいい空港。竹田城とはいかないでしょうが雲海が素晴らしい。
外の実機も迫力があります。
離れた別棟にレストランと、カフェ・土産物屋が1軒ずつしかないのであまり時間は潰せませんが、早めに来てのんびりして気持ちよかったです。
航空会社カウンターの男性の方は親切丁寧でしたが、850からオープンとなってますが時間通り開きません。
検査後の待合室は離島のそれよりも狭いです。あちこち行ってますが、種子島とかより狭い。自販機もトイレすらなくてびっくり。短時間フライトだからまあ大丈夫ですが、飲み物は検査後買う人が多いでしょうし、いつも乗る間際にトイレ行くので、その辺の案内が徹底されてなくて残念でした。皆さんは気をつけて下さい。

Airport with a very nice view. It may not be Takeda Castle, but the sea of clouds is wonderful.
The actual machine outside is also powerful.
There is only one restaurant and one cafe / souvenir shop in the separate building, so I can't spend much time, but it was nice to come early and relax.
The man at the airline counter was kind and polite, but it has been open since 850 but it doesn't open on time.
The waiting room after the inspection is smaller than that of the remote island. I go here and there, but it's narrower than Tanegashima. I was surprised that the vending machine didn't even have a toilet. It's okay because it's a short flight, but many people buy drinks after the inspection, and I always go to the bathroom just before getting on, so I'm sorry that the guidance around that area wasn't thorough. Please be careful.
