★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 子供の頃、盆踊りで行ったことがあり、先日、再訪したところ、こんなに小さな境内だったのかと驚きました。
歴史ある神社です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 深山神社と石碑群
この神社は慶弔19年(1614)、一説には天正の頃、九戸郡軽米町晴山から分霊したと云われています。
祭神として、衣食住・五穀の守護神である保食大神（うけもちのおおかみ）を祀っていますが、商売繁盛・厄除海運・無病息災・延命長寿にも御利益があるそうです。
「しんざん」は、「新山」、「深山」、「真山」とも書きますが。元々、藤原清衡（きよひら）が奥州二国一万個村に寺を建て、総て新山寺と称した時の名残です。
修験的な行事を行う熊野山系の寺でありましたが、明治初年の廃仏毀釈により、神社になるか廃寺になるかの選択を迫られました。
この神社の境内は石碑の宝庫で、入口から十和田山碑・山神石・出羽山碑等が並んで建ち、離れて庚申碑があるなど、貴重な文化遺産の宝庫です。

Miyama Shrine and Monuments
This shrine is said to have been split from Haruyama, Kumyo-gun, Kudo, during the Tensho period.
As a festival god, she enshrined the god of food and food, the guardian god of cereals (Okechi no Okami).
“Shinzan” is also written as “Shinzan”, “Fukayama” and “Mayama”. Originally a remnant when Kiyohira Fujiwara built a temple in 10,000 villages in Oshu Nikoku and called it Shinzan-ji.
It was a temple in the Kumano Mountains that had an educational event, but the abandoned Buddha Buddha in the first year of the Meiji period forced us to choose whether to become a shrine or abandoned temple.
The precincts of this shrine are treasures of stone monuments. Towada-san monument, Yamagami stone, Dewa mountain monument are lined up from the entrance, and there is a monument away.
