There is a grave of Mr. Yodogawa, the lord of Katano castle, in the precincts of Tainingji Temple (next to the grave of Okuma, Yamagata Prefecture) Mr. Sasakawa was originally a warlord of Ise, but he was given the last name from Kazumasa Sasakawa from Oda Nobunaga's ancestor and became the Sasakawa surname. After Mr. Satake, who unified Hitachi, was transferred to Akita, he entered Katano Castle in 1603 and became Daimyo of 20,000 stones in Shinji-gun. It was confiscated and turned into an abandoned castle.

"Taineiji" is a temple of the Soto sect of Zen sect. Invited by a friend, I participated in zazen from November last year. First of all, Mr. Osho explained his attitude, etc., and he learned how to assemble his legs and hands, how to use cushions, posture and how to breathe. Zazen time was about 40 minutes starting at 15:30. I didn't feel my legs numb, and I felt a sense of accomplishment. Zazen is not a penance of training, but a refreshing mood, as Mr. Osho said. It's quite difficult to have a half-eye that doesn't close even if you don't open your eyes. Sometimes it's annoying to get sleepy! .. However, Osho-san was saved by his open heart and kindness, and decided to become familiar with zazen again. Furthermore, in the precincts, there is a tomb of "Yamagata Daini" (a cultural property designated by Ibaraki Prefecture), and there is also an information board, and it seems that some people visit this temple for this purpose. Born in Kai Province, he went to Edo to lecture on Confucianism and military art, and wrote "Yanagiko Shinron" to implicitly criticize the Edo Shogunate. It was finally captured and executed in Kozukahara, and the disciple of the local Negoya took it home and buried it without being able to bear the fact that his neck was exposed. This is the Meiwa case, which is also mentioned in history textbooks. It became a sign of the later Sonnojoi movement.
