★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 村上山観音寺は茨城県中央部、筑波山を望む石岡市（旧八郷町）林地区に位置する真言宗智山派の密教寺院。
創建は南北朝時代、建武二年（西暦１３３５年）とされる。
本堂に安置される本尊は十一面観世音菩薩立像。
境内西の奥にある手接堂（てつぎどう）には金剛手菩薩（普賢菩薩）、不動明王、十一面観音座像が祀られ、手接様（てつぎさま）と親しまれ、手の病にご利益があるとされる。
戦国時代に小田家累系の宍戸藩より、上総守の友部氏が観音寺城を建立したが、佐竹氏に破れて、大塚の地に土着した。
Murakami-san Kannonji is a Buddhist Buddhist temple of the Shingon Buddhism in the central part of Ibaraki Prefecture, located in the forest area of Ishioka City (former Yasatocho) overlooking Mount Tsukuba.
Founded in the North-Northern Dynasty, the second year of Jianwu (1335 AD).
The main shrine enshrined in the main hall is an eleven-faced statue of Kanseon Kannon.
In the west side of the precincts, the Tejido is enshrined with the statues of Kongo Hando, Fudo Myo, and Eleven-faced Kannon, and is familiar with the Tesama. It is said that there is a benefit to the disease.
During the Sengoku period, Mr. Tomobe of Kazusa Mamoru built Kannonji Castle from the Shishido Domain of the Oda family, but it was destroyed by Mr. Satake and indigenous to Otsuka.
