新しい木造の駅舎で、加西市で栽培が盛んなぶどうをイメージしたパーゴラ（藤棚）の屋根がホームにかかっていて、ホームにもぶどうがたくさんプランターに植えられていました。

A small unmanned station home on one side. It is a station of warm atmosphere full of handmade feeling such as the roof of the wisteria shelf.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ まだこの路線が国鉄所属だったころ（太平洋戦争中）、近くの飛行場を飛び立った戦闘機がちょうどこの路線に不時着し、たまたま通りがかった列車と接触して脱線。
詳細は立て看板の写真の文章に譲りますが、多くの人が犠牲になったにもかかわらず、その事実は戦後まで伏せられていたそうです。
隣駅の法華口駅最寄りにはその海軍の飛行場跡や高射砲・弾薬庫跡があったり・・・と、いまなお戦争の傷跡を生々しく残してはるエリアです。
When this line was still affiliated with the Japanese National Railways (during the Pacific War), a fighter plane that took off from a nearby airfield just crash landed on this line and derailed when it happened to come in contact with a passing train.
I will leave the details to the text in the photo of the signboard, but it seems that the fact was hidden until after the war, even though many people were sacrificed.
Near Hokkeguchi Station, which is the next station, there are traces of the Navy's airfield, anti-aircraft guns, and ammunition depots.
