※西脇市以遠(加古川線新西脇～谷川間および福知山線はIC非対応地区またはエリア外となるなので上記の区間)に乗車の方は改札内にある自動券売機で目的地までの切符を購入してください。
加古川線普通列車の停車駅でI自動券売機あり、ICカード対応の駅です。駅舎は加古川線電化の際に改築されたものでトイレ等も完備されており、バリアフリーもなされています。電車の本数は加古川・粟生/西脇市方面ともに1時間に一本ほどです。

There is an automatic ticket vending machine at the stop of the Kakogawa Line regular train, and it is an IC card compatible station. The station building was renovated when the Kakogawa line was electrified, and it is fully equipped with toilets and other facilities, making it barrier-free. The number of trains is about one per hour for both Kakogawa, Ao and Nishiwaki-shi.
