K	Kanu Suguro on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great way to experience kaiten sushi (spinning sushi) where sushi plates get pushed along a conveyer right next to you. You find one you want, and you just grab it and eat it. No worries, that's the way kaiten sushi works. When you're finished eating, the plates are color coded so they can tell what you had, and bill you accordingly. Sushiro's kaiten system is state of the art imho, but the sushi quality leaves a bit to be desired. Sushiro is mega popular, so be ready for a wait... but a great place to start getting in to kaiten sushi.

G	Gladys Houwen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not impressed. We used to live near Tachikawa’s Sushiro. This Sushiro is the nearest to our new home in Suginami-ku. It is always a long wait and it took up to 3 weeks to book your ideal slot online since it is very popular. There is no doubt that it is popular because of their extensive menu, fresh ingredients and their efficient service system. This Sushiro in Ogikubo doesn’t have as many sushi options; 20% more expensive than other Sushiros (I have been to Tachikawa Sushiro and Rokakoen’s Sushiro); the Ogikubo Sushiro doesn’t even have Mayonnaise (while other Sushiros do!)?! These have given a slightly bad impression. Also, the sushiro rice was not tightly pressed. I saw some sushi’s falling apart on the conveyor belt. The other disappointment was that when we ordered a coffee jelly dessert. That looked nothing like what was shown on the poster. The ice-cream which was supposed to be on top on the cream was stingily and pathetically small and melted into the cream by the time it arrived. This Sushiro will have work hard to uphold their reputation.
R	Rinne Wilted on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food comes really fast through the express lane on the conveyor belt. You can download their application if theres a queue and place your queue there, it would tell you the approx time you'll need to wait as well. Its overall quite convenient.

The pumpkin tempura was good in the first round, for second order it had mostly oily taste. In the end I found a hair in my sushi. Most of the servers weren't that friendly, but at least the cashier lady was very nice and the only positive thing in the shop in ogikubo. Of course we didn't expect too many from a franchise sushi store. But all in all my boyfriend and me both ended up with an upset stomach. ? (even if myself had only vegetarian sushi)
