★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My must visit place in Tokyo. Mimoto San knows good sushi. Try the different types of Uni if you’re visiting in summer. Like cheese tasting but more savoury for sure.

We stumbled upon this place thanks to the review and Mimoto, the owner and sushi chef went above and beyond his way to make us feel welcome, striking a pleasant conversation while blowing us away with his technique and sushi servings. Each bite was worth a photo and a wow. Clearly made us feel unprepared with our understanding of what sushi actually is. Expensive, 19/20k yen, but it you can afford it definitely a must try.
