★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must come here to experience the fascinating phenomenon of hearing NO in Japan. NO to ordering food if your company is only drinking, NO to hot water on the side, NO to ordering americano with your pre-fix lunch because it's not on the list (but espresso is) and so on. Coming from Williamsburg (birthplace of hipsters in NYC) I know that you don't need to be rude and obnoxious to be cool. This place is trying too hard and in all the wrong places. Too bad, the place looks cool. xoxo

Atmosphere is good and staff are friendly. Crowd seems like mostly JP girls and the occasional foreign guy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At first we really liked this cafe after grabbing lunch down the street. Brooklyn Brewery on tap, and pretty good coffee (although it's Tokyo, there's good coffee everywhere). Our reason for the 1 star review is that when we went to pay, we were extremely overcharged, and even after arguing about it, they would not budge. We had one cappucino and one beer, we were charged over 2000jpy, almost double what the menu advertised.
The guy would not explain why, nor did we get a receipt. No one else there was charged a seating fee or anything else, we watched. There are tons of better cafes that treat foreigners with respect, and we did nothing to offend them. Terrible.
