★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This spot is by far the best, unobstructed sunrise (public) view spot on the island. There are no trees, houses or wires in the way here. Can see sun rising from behind black island (Kuro-Jim’s) directly in front. It’s right past the island’s only coffee shop “Avenue “ & about 5 min drive to the observation tower viewpoint parking (5 min walk from there).
